Flexible rubber magnet (Bonded Ferrite/ceramic) is made by Ferrite powder mixed with synthetic rubber or plastic (CPE or NBR). This type of magnet has excellent flexibility characteristic in permanent magnetic material field. It can be easily folded, twisted without damaging on magnetic properties. It also has excellent machining characteristic by cutting, punching, drilling and sawing using normal tools, such as scissors.

Flexible rubber magnets are available in Isotropic and Anisotropic. The magnetic force of Isotropic is lower than Anisotropic.

The major applications of isotropic flexible magnet are for promotion, decoration, toys and learning material. Comparing with Isotropic, Anisotropic flexible magnet has higher values of Hcj, (BH)max and Br. So the major applications for motors, sensors and magnetic holding systems, which have complicate the working environment.
